During the first two years of study at Rutgers, students in the Meteorology Program get started on introductory meteorology – as well as required courses in chemistry, physics and calculus. The suggested sequence posted here applies to students in the option-based curriculum. A different sequence is available for students in the Class of 2027 and beyond.
Note that the following sequence is a rough guide. The actual sequence of courses to follow will vary somewhat depending on math and English placement scores, minors, second majors, and the general interests of any particular student.
