Students can gain academic credits in conjunction with their internships by participating in the Student to Professional Internship Network (SPIN). Through this program, students involved in part- or full-time employment related to their major or career interest can earn 3 to 6 credits per semester (up to a maximum of 6 credits) to be applied toward graduation. Credits are given for completing academic assignments that relate to the work experience, rather than just for having a job.
